These are the most commonly used brackets worldwide. Metal brackets are silver in colour and are made from surgical grade stainless steel or titanium. They are very strong and slightly smaller than ceramic brackets. The lower profile of these brackets makes them smaller, less visible and more comfortable. Coloured o-rings (tiny rubberbands) are used on these brackets to brighten them up and hold the archwire inside the bracket. You can alter your colours every 6-8 weeks!
